I have to admit, Valentine's day isn't my favorite of holidays (never has been), but it is one day of the whole year devoted to appreciating someone you love. Who doesn't like a reason to splurge on that special someone or even on yourself if you're single? I'll take any excuse to grab myself a pretty bracelet or a lacy piece of lingerie... May not go as far as sending myself flowers (that's a thing, really!), but I do like to do little things for the people I care about in my life, whether it be friends, family, or relatives.
